Happy New Year everyone! I can’t believe it is 2022. Since the last post a couple of weeks ago, it has been incredibly busy for our family, with all of our kids home and of course, the holidays. But it’s also been very busy for us because we have been adding a lot of new books to our booklist, including a few new categories: HS/Adult, Biblical Worldview, and Parenting! In total, we have MORE THAN DOUBLED (in fact, almost TRIPLED) the books on the site! We now have over 600 books to choose from!
Books you can trust
Each of the books were vetted before they were included in the booklist, or they had been personally previously read. We are so excited to be able to offer these new, MHM books to everyone! We pray that they will help each of your families to establish foundational, biblical Truths in the lives of your children and affirm your own convictions as Believers in Christ.
Not all of the books are blatantly Christian. However, they all were written from a biblical worldview (whether intentionally or not) that helps to establish truth, beauty, and character that ultimately honors and points to Christ.
New Categories
Two of the new categories (Biblical Worldview and Parenting) are specifically geared towards parents and/or parenting. These categories are there as an acknowledgement of the current cultural climate and our need to stay abreast of what is happening and the influences that are acting on not only each one of us, but our children. As parents, we are called to lead and guide our children. Knowing how to shepherd our children through difficult times and situations requires an awareness on our part of what our children face and the messages that the culture is speaking to them. We all need to be informed and encouraged to lead our families in a God-honoring way, full of truth. MHM prays that these books will be used as powerful tools in the hands of Believers to equip them to stand firm, united together in Christ.
And who doesn’t need help parenting? Maybe I’m the only one, but the LORD has used these precious gifts of mine to sanctify and humble me. I am so grateful! They are reminders to me that my husband and I can not do this based on our own knowledge or wisdom. We need Jesus and His Word, as well as other strong Believers to help us along the way.
I am so thankful for the wisdom shared by the people who have gone before us, and those that are in the trenches alongside us who can show us various ways of parenting, from loving and disciplining our very different children to teaching them how to walk closer to Jesus.

We’re so excited for this New Year! May we all lean more into Jesus, courageously speaking Truth in love, by the power of His Spirit. And as Martyn Iles has so eloquently recently put it (if you don’t follow him on social media, you need to!): “I wish you a year in which you, “seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness,” knowing that, “all these things shall be added unto you.” (even safety!) (Matt 6:33).”
